The annual meeting 2022 of the World Economic Forum (WEF) officially kicked off in the Swiss town of Davos on May 23, focusing on four major challenges: geopolitical risks, pandemics, climate change, and global economic risks.

The Chinese delegation to the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2022 in Davos, Switzerland, said on May 23 that CNN had vilified them in its report related to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
In its report on Monday, CNN quoted a US politician as saying that after Zelensky delivered a speech via video at the WEF, the Chinese delegation did not give a standing ovation as the rest of the audience were doing, and instead left the venue.

The Chinese delegation solemnly stated that CNN's report was completely untrue. They told Xinhua that they were in talks with the International Energy Agency Executive Director Fatih Birol when Zelensky spoke.
当地时间23日，国际能源署署长比罗尔也发推特表示，“在达沃斯，我与老朋友、中国气候变化事务特使解振华，就全球能源市场形势以及如何确保应对气候变化的措施成为政策制定的核心进行了精彩的讨论。”
