12月8日至10日召开的中央经济工作会议明确，明年经济工作要稳字当头、稳中求进。会议指出，在错综复杂的国际国内形势下，中国经济“稳”的基调愈发坚实，“进”的态势不断增强。同时，也面临疫情和全球经济通货膨胀带来的压力和挑战。因此，2022年经济工作要把握稳字当头，各方面要积极推出有利于经济稳定的政策，确保中国经济巨轮始终沿着正确方向前进。
China’s economic development for the upcoming year should prioritize stability while pursuing progress, according to the three-day annual Central Economic Work Conference that concluded on Dec 10 in Beijing. It was noted in the meeting that although China has maintained a leading global position in economic development in 2021, the country’s economy still faces challenges amid the rise in COVID-19 infections and global economic inflation pressure.Thus, stability is highlighted as a major target for the year 2022 and various measures to promote economic prosperity will be rolled out ahead of schedule.
