10月18日，在河南省三门峡市举行的第三届中国考古学大会开幕式上，国家文物局公布了"百年百大考古发现"名单。许多公众熟悉的名字出现在名单上，包括河南仰韶村遗址、陕西秦始皇陵墓、四川三星堆遗址、浙江良渚考古遗址、北京周口店遗址等。
The National Cultural Heritage Administration announced the top 100 archaeological discoveries of China in the past 100 years on Monday at the opening ceremony of the third Chinese Archaeology Congress in Sanmenxia. Many names familiar to the general public were on the list, including the Yangshao village site in Henan province, the mausoleum of Emperor Qinshihuang in Shaanxi province, the archaeological ruins of Liangzhu in Zhejiang province, the Sanxingdui site in Sichuan province and the Zhoukoudian site in Beijing.
