10月13日下午，2020年联合国生物多样性大会（第一阶段）高级别会议在云南昆明闭幕，会议正式通过“昆明宣言”，呼吁各方采取行动，共建地球生命共同体。“昆明宣言”是此次大会的主要成果。宣言承诺，确保制定、通过和实施一个有效的“2020年后全球生物多样性框架”，以扭转当前生物多样性丧失趋势并确保最迟在2030年使生物多样性走上恢复之路，进而全面实现人与自然和谐共生的2050年愿景。
The Kunming Declaration was adopted Wednesday at the ongoing 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15) in Kunming, southwest China's Yunnan Province. The declaration commits to ensuring the development, adoption and implementation of an effective post-2020 global biodiversity framework to reverse the current loss of biodiversity and ensure that biodiversity is put on a path to recovery by 2030 at the latest, towards the full realization of the 2050 Vision of "Living in Harmony with Nature."
