9月2日，交通运输部会同中央网信办、工业和信息化部、公安部、市场监管总局等交通运输新业态协同监管部际联席会议成员单位，对滴滴出行等11家网约车平台公司进行联合约谈，要求禁止招募或诱导未取得许可的驾驶员和车辆“带车加盟”等违法行为。根据相关要求，各平台公司要检视自身存在的问题，改善服务质量，采取必要的安全技术和管理措施，保障司机和乘客的合法权利。
The Ministry of Transport and four other departments have ordered online ride-hailing companies to stop illegal operations, such as hiring drivers and vehicles without licenses. According to a notice made public by industry regulators on Sept 2, 11 ride-hailing companies, including Didi Chuxing, were asked to carry out self-inspections. The notice urged companies to improve service quality and operational safety, as well as protect the legal rights of drivers and passengers.
*Hail作动词，表示“招呼；欢呼”。“叫车”表达为hail/call a car。其他几种常见的网约车有： 顺风车/拼车 (ride sharing/ride hitching/carpooling)、快车 (fast ride)。
