全球疫苗免疫联盟(GAVI)7月12日发布声明称，为解决全球疫苗分配的严重鸿沟，近日已同中国国药集团和科兴公司分别签署了预购协议，这两家中国疫苗生产商将立即开始向新冠肺炎疫苗实施计划(COVAX)供货1.1亿剂新冠疫苗。到明年上半年，国药和科兴可向COVAX提供5.5亿剂新冠疫苗。GAVI总部位于瑞士日内瓦，是主导COVAX倡议的国际机构之一。
Two Chinese COVID-19 vaccine producers will immediately begin supplying 110 million doses to COVAX - a global vaccine-sharing initiative - to address critical gaps in vaccine distribution worldwide, the Gavi Vaccine Alliance said in a statement on Monday. By the first half of 2022, the two companies will supply a potential total of 550 million doses to COVAX, according to the statement. Gavi is based in Geneva, Switzerland, and is one of the international organizations leading the COVAX initiative. The alliance announced it had recently signed agreements with State-owned Sinopharm and Sinovac Biotech.
