Physicist Pan Jianwei, known in China as the “father of quantum”, recently talked about the misuse of quantum concepts in products, combating such counterfeit branding. He said that products featuring “quantum” on their labels, such as so-called “quantum-infused facial masks”, must be fake, and that it was only a gimmick to attract customers.
