China's first vaccination vehicle will hit the streets in April in Beijing and north China's Hebei province, which will allow people to receive COVID-19 shots near their residence without travelling to vaccination stations. The interior of the vaccination vehicle resembles that of a bus, but with fewer seats. The vehicle is equipped with a facial recognition system that can check the body temperature of vaccine recipients. The vehicle is covered by onboard Wi-Fi and 5G network for faster data transmission. The whole vaccination process will be carried out inside the vehicle. After getting a shot, vaccine recipients will remain under observation at a designated area outside of the vehicle.
