伴随着春节假期的结束，人们纷纷回到各自的工作岗位，奋斗的牛年也正式开启。2020年12月31日，习近平总书记在全国政协新年茶话会上首次提出了“三牛精神”，勉励全国各族人民在新的一年发扬“为民服务孺子牛、创新发展拓荒牛、艰苦奋斗老黄牛”精神，在全面建设社会主义现代化国家新征程上奋勇前进。在中国文化里，牛是勤劳、奋进和力量的象征。2月18日节后第一个工作日，外交部发言人华春莹也在在推特上发文用英语对“三牛精神”进行了描述。
Following the end of the Spring Festival holiday, people returned to work and their normal daily routine, marking the beginning of the aspirational Year of the Ox. The new year will be defined by the “three ox spirit”, a term that first appeared in President Xi Jinping’s speech at a New Year’s gathering last December. The “three ox spirit” encourages people to promote the spirit of the ox in serving the people，driving innovative development and working tirelessly, marching forward bravely on the new journey of fully building a modern socialist country. The ox is a symbol of diligence, progress and strength. On Feb 18, the first working day of the new year, Hua Chunying, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, tweeted to encourage people with the “three ox spirit”.
