The reality show Older Sisters Riding the Winds and Breaking the Waves wrapped up on Sept 4. Seven performers stood out from 30 contestants and formed a brand-new girl group. They included Ning Jing, Wan Qian, Meng Jia, Li Sidanni, Zhang Yuqi, Yu Kewei and Huang Ling.
9月4日，真人秀《乘风破浪的姐姐》落下帷幕。七位表演者从三十名参赛选手中脱颖而出，成立全新女团。她们是宁静、万茜、孟佳、李斯丹妮、张雨绮、郁可唯以及黄龄。
“What defines a girl group? I have many answers, but none of the answers were about age,” said Meng, a former member of K-pop girl group Miss A. The show exclusively featured 30 female singers, actors and hosts older than 30. What Meng said echoed the theme of the show: fighting ageism.
“是什么定义了一个女团？我有很多个答案，但没有一个与年龄有关，”韩国流行女团Miss A前成员孟佳说道。该节目以30位30岁以上的女性歌手、演员以及主持人为主角。而孟佳所言则呼应了节目的主题：对抗年龄歧视。
