快递柜运营商丰巢自从宣布5月1日起停止免费寄存服务后就饱受批评（戳
这里回顾）。据中国日报网报道，因为很多包裹都是未经收件人同意就投放到快递柜中，所以这样的收费措施引发用户不满。在消费者权益相关部门干预下，丰巢于5月20日起实施新政策。快递人员必须征得收件人同意才能将包裹放置在快递柜中。丰巢也将免费寄存时长从12小时延长到18小时。
China’s largest self-service parcel locker operator, Hive Box, has drawn public criticism since it announced they would stop providing free storage of express delivery packages starting from May 1. The policy sparked outrage among users since many packages are delivered to the smart lockers without getting the consent of recipients, according to China Daily. After interventions from consumers rights authorities, Hive Box implemented a new pricing policy from May 20. Deliverymen will only deposit parcels in the lockers after getting consumers’ consent. Hive Box has also extended the free storage duration from 12 hours to 18 hours.
